NXP's PTN36502 is a combo signal redriver that enhances USB 3.1 Gen 1 and 4-lane DP 1.2 (HRB2) signal integrity. PTN36502 is packaged in an ultra-small QFN package 2.4 mm x 3.2 mm. The small form factor is ideal for mobile computing, smartphones, tablets, and any small form factor applications.
The PTN36502 IC improves signal integrity on a host system. It integrates DP AUX snooping function and AUX crossbar switch, and it offers ultra-low standby power consumption of 1.8 mW (U2 mode). The IC can operate with 1.8 V VDD, which is a common voltage rail across mobile platforms/systems.
