WR-SMA Coaxial Connectors
Subminiature SMA series coax connectors are designed with threaded coupling technology to ensure high mechanical stability and a bridge between RF and microwave frequencies. They are well-suited for various applications such as telecommunications, data communication, test and measurement systems, and industrial fields. Wurth Electronics offers a wide range of connectors from PCB to panel solutions in different orientation and termination types with bulkhead and multiple flange mounting options.
WR-RPSMA Coaxial Connectors
Reverse polarity SMA connectors are offered in inverse design to standard SMA connectors for polarization according to FCC regulations for antenna requirements. They are non-standardized with a female center contact in the plug and a male center contact in the jack. They appear with identical visual shape and mechanical attributes along with the same characteristics as standard SMAs. Nevertheless, the RP jacks can only be mated with RP plugs in order to prevent any inadvertent mating with standard plugs.
WR-ADPT Coaxial Adapters
Wurth Electronics provides different SMA adapters for users to change the interface between plug, jack, and reverse polarities. SMA adapters are convenient and fast tools for extending the connection of PCB connectors or cable assemblies. Test laboratories, RF instruments, or factory production sites generally use adapters.
WR-CXASY Coaxial Connectors
The WR-CXASY connectors come in a variety of pre-assembled cable assemblies for SMA plug to SMA plug and SMA plug to SMA bulkhead jack in different cable types. Flexible cables are available in RG58, RG142, RG174, RG316 to RG316 double braid. The .085 and .141 hand-formable cables are offered with frequency up to 18 GHz. Typical cable assembly structure includes a jacket which provides environmental protection for the cable, shielding it to prevent and minimize RF leakage with braided wires or metal foil, dielectric for insulating material that could separate the cable center conductor and the shielding, and center conductor offering the main path for signal transmission.
