Nice looking, but the IR-Diode NEVER reaches 3W:1. There is a hot smell, if the onboard-resistor ist set to maximum light (This is due the MOSFET has to transform the remaining Voltage to heat (@3,3V)).2. For 3W, the IR-LED would have to be feed with 1,3A @ 2,35V (tested).3. @ Mamimum Setting@3,3V, the Current is 560 mA. The LED uses 1,24V => 0,69W (3W rated!!). The MOSFET: 2,06V x 560mA => 1,15W heat dissipation...=> Nice Product (e.g. Glass-Filter for LDR), probably power re-design needed.Regards, M.
