ADM306x Interface RS-485 Transceivers: Analog Devices ADM306x Interface RS-485 Transceivers protect communication in harsh environments including motor control, industrial automation, military, and avionics. Operating with a 1/4 unit load input impedance, the ADM306x devices support up to 128 transceivers on a bus. The ADM3061E/ADM3062E models offer a low 500kbps data rate, making the devices suitable for operation over long cable runs. With a 50Mbps data rate, the ADM3065E/ADM3066E transceivers are suitable for high-speed, bidirectional data communication on multi-point bus transmission lines. The ADM3066E transceiver includes a VIO logic supply pin for a flexible digital interface capable of operating as low as 1.62V. With robust protection features and an extended temperature range up to 125°C, the ADM306x Transceivers help improve the performance of standard RS-485 communication links. The ADM3065E/ADM3066E transceivers include IEC61000-4-2 ESD protection on the bus pins. The IEC61000-4-2 ESD protection on the bus pins enables the device to withstand ±12kV contact discharges without latch-up or damage. Because ADM306x Interface RS-485 Transceivers comply with several widely used protocols including as Profibus, BACnet, and Modbus, designers can use these devices to support a variety of network topologies. The ADM3065E-EP/ADM3066E-EP are half-duplex RS-485 transceivers fully compliant to the PROFIBUS® standard with increased 2.1V bus differential voltage at VCC≥4.5V. The ADM3067E-EP are full-duplex RS-485 transceivers.
