FAN53600/10 Synchronous Buck Regulators
ON Semiconductor FAN53600/10 Synchronous Buck Regulators are 3MHz step-down switching voltage regulators with a peak efficiency of 97%. These regulators are available in 600mA or 1A options and deliver a fixed output from an input voltage supply of 2.3V to 5.5V. These regulators reduce the value of external components to 1µH for the output inductor and 10µF for the output capacitor. The regulators operate the device in the power save mode at moderate and light loads and automatically switches to fixed frequency control at higher loads. ON Semiconductor FAN53600/10 regulators are available in 6-bump, 0.4mm pitch, and Wafer-Level Chip-Scale Package (WLCSP). Features include forced PWM and external clock synchronization, Input Under-Voltage Lockout (UVLO), thermal shutdown, and overload protection. Applications include 3G, 4G, WiFi®, WiMAX™, and WiBro® data cards, tablets, DSC, DVC, Netbooks®, and Ultra-Mobile PCs.
