Maxim Integrated MAX34565 12V Hot-Plug Switch is a hot-plug controller for 12V power rails that includes the required power-pass MOSFET device for 12V supplies. During hot-plug, MAX34565 Hot-Plug Switch controls the supply output voltage ramp (dV/dt) and limits the current at a user-controlled level. Maxim Integrated MAX34565 Hot-Plug Switch also limits the output voltage to protect downstream devices from overvoltage events.
