FNF51560TD1 is a Motion SPM 55 module providing a fully-featured, high-performance inverter output stage for AC Induction, BLDC, and PMSM motors. These modules integrate optimized gate drive of the built-in IGBTs to minimize EMI and losses, while also providing multiple on-module protection features including under-voltage lockouts, inter-lock function, over-current shutdown, thermal monitoring of drive IC, and fault reporting. The built-in, high-speed HVIC requires only a single supplyvoltage and translates the incoming logic-level gate inputs to the high-voltage, high-current drive signals required to properly drive the module's robust short-circuit-rated IGBTs. Separate negative IGBT terminals are available for each phase to support the widest variety of control algorithms.
Motion SPM® 55 Modules
ON Semiconductor Motion SPM® 55 series modules offer a fully-featured and high-performance inverter output stage for AC induction, BLDC, and PMSM motors. The SPM 55 modules integrate optimized gate drive of the built-in IGBTs to minimize EMI and losses. These modules offer multiple on-module protection features including under-voltage lockouts, interlock function, over-current shutdown, thermal monitoring, and fault reporting. The SPM 55 modules come with a built-in high-speed HVIC and require a single supply voltage. These modules translate the incoming logic-level gate inputs to the high-voltage and high-current drive signals required to properly drive the short circuit-rated IGBTs. The SPM 55 modules are especially well-suited for motion control in home appliances and industrial motors.
