If you're looking for an AT-09 that is a BLE device otherwise compatible with the HC-05 then this is not it. You will not be able to follow any online guide for the AT-09 that includes pairing with a PIN code or using AT commands to change the settings of this Bluetooth device. None of those actions work in the same way with the device I actually received.According to the vendor this device has no pin; the result is that it won't pair with a Galaxy S7 phone and it won't pair with my Linux laptop. Both can "see" the AT-09 and both work with HC-05 modules fine. Both fail to work with this AT-09 module.A "real" HM-10 module would have had a pin code of 000000. This is not compatible, and if that's what you need you should skip this.The vendor suggested I use LightBlue explorer, and that could indeed "connect" with this device. But I could find no way to "pair" this device so that was of limited use.The order did come very quickly, and it was packaged adequately.
