Bourns’ model CRS series has been designed with a specialized thick-film element to withstand high-powered surges with higher power ratings of up to 2 W. The CRS series comes in 5% resistance tolerances and temperature coefficient of resistance (TCR) values of 100 ppm/°C and 200 ppm/°C depending on the resistance values, which range from 1 Ω to 1 MΩ. The CRS series family complements the other circuit conditioning components that Bourns offers such as power inductors, rectifier diodes, and zener diodes.
