SiTime's SiT1568 series of TCXOs are an ultra-small and ultra-low power 32.768 kHz TCXO optimized for battery-powered applications. They are manufactured using SiTime's patented TempFlat MEMS™ technology which enables the first 32 kHz ±5 PPM super-TCXO in a 1.2 mm2 chip-scale package. The SiT1568 is factory calibrated over multiple temperature points to guarantee ±5 PPM all-inclusive frequency stability. The SiT1568 series of MEMs super-TCXOs are unlike any other TCXOs on the market. These ultra-small TCXOs include a one-time, in-system auto-calibration feature that cancels out post-assembly board stressors, including over mold and under fill. The result is a 32 kHz TCXO that maintains ±5 PPM all-inclusive stability in a tiny 1.2 mm2 footprint, ideal for wearables, modules, and tiny IoT applications.
SiTime's MEMS oscillator consists of a MEMS resonator and a programmable analog circuit. The SiT1568 MEMS resonator is built with SiTime's unique MEMS First™ process. A key manufacturing step is EpiSeal™ during which the MEMS resonator is annealed with temperatures over 1000°C. EpiSeal creates an extremely strong, clean, vacuum chamber that encapsulates the MEMS resonator and ensures the best performance and reliability.
