TDK's VLS-EX-H series power inductors are magnetically-shielded wirewound inductors with a ferrite core. The core material of the VLS-EX-H series has been optimized, resulting in a higher rated current specification and lower R_DC. This series has a high magnetic shield construction, which is achieved using ferrite magnetic material and is compatible with high-density mounting. VLS-EX-H inductors are AEC-Q200 compliant and are designed for use in automotive applications such as ECM, airbags, headlights, electronic power steering, meters, ABS, and more.
