Riedon has expanded its line of high-performance power resistors to include three components with significantly improved pulse and surge performance (two or more times the energy handling) compared to generic devices of similar size and power rating. The HPP series is offered with power ratings of three, five, or ten watts with a number of resistance values in each size and pulse ratings as high as 54 joules. Higher pulse ratings and other resistance values are available upon demand.
